Rachael has taught all three of my children over the last five years, and I couldn't have hoped for a better teacher. Her mixture of patience and love of music has really inspired them all, and they all enjoy and look forward to their lessons immensely. She has tailored her teaching to their different personalities to get the most out of them, and she just seems to get the different ways they approach the piano. My oldest son won a music scholarship to Trinity, which was undoubtedly due to Racha
As an adult beginner I've found Rachael's lesson's to be encouraging and inspirational, with just the right amount of rigour to keep me moving forward at a good pace. As I've progressed to higher grades I've come to appreciate more fully the depth of her knowledge and how well she tailors her teaching to the individual student.
Rachael is a very friendly teacher and her lessons are well organised. My daughter has really progressed since starting with her over a year ago and really enjoys the lessons. I have also started taking lessons as a complete beginner. Rachael has been thorough in teaching me the basics of reading music, she is also very patient and I am enjoying learning with her. I would definitely recommend her to budding pianists of all ages.
