I teach the Flute, Piccolo and Music Theory. I will also coach chamber groups.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
I have Grade 8 Distinction on flute an Grades 1-5 theory.
I have 3 A levels, including music, all A grades.
Currently studying for Bmus at the Royal College of Music.
- How much do you charge?
I charge £25 an hour for flute teaching and £20 an hour for music theory.
- Where do you teach?
I don't mind teaching in my own home in Wimbledon or at the home of the student. I am happy to consider traveling to all areas of london. Please contact me if you are further afield and would like lessons and I will try my best to accommodate you.
- When are you available?
I will discuss lesson times on an individual basis to find the most convienient time for the pupil and myself.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach absolute beginners to Grade 8.
- Do you have a personal message for students?
I am an enthusiastic teacher with a great deal of experience in playing and I am happy to teach every level.
- What kind of experience do you have?
I studied at Chethams School of Music for 7 years. In my time there I was principal in the Symphony Orchestra and the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain, both of which gave me opportunities to perform around Europe including at the BBC Proms where I played principal under the baton of Colin Davis. I am currently in my 3rd year as a Foundation Scholar at the Royal College of Music studying the flute and regularly perform with the Sinfonietta, Opera Orchestra and Symphony Orchestra as well as taking part in outreach projects in School's and Hospital's. I am a part of the Scotney Wind Ensemble and regularly play freelance with other orchestra's around London; for example,The Clic Sargent Symphony Orchestra.

Yes, through the Royal College of Music.

I have been taught by Gitte Sorenson, Rachel Holt, Goran Marcusson, Jaime Martin and Sue Thomas. I have played in Masterclasses with Simon Channing, Paul Edmund-Davis, Wissam Boustany, Peter Lloyd and William Bennett
