About the lesson

Hi, my name is Becky. I have just graduated from Magdalen College, University of Oxford. I am currently working as a Maths Teaching Assistant (secondary) for a year before training as a History Teacher.

- Which subject(s) do you teach?

I teach History and English Literature at all secondary levels, up to and including A-Level and Maths up to (and including) GCSE level.

- Tell me about your qualifications.

BA (hons) University of Oxford in History and Politics (2:1) A Levels in English Literature, History and Mathematics (all grade A)

- How much do you charge?

I charge £25/hr as standard, but this can be negotiated. For groups, there is £5 discount per child.

- Where do you teach?

I am happy to teach at home, but would prefer to teach at a student's home. I live in Chelsea, London and am happy to travel to surrounding boroughs (Hammersmith and Fulham, Westminster, Wandsworth) . I also am happy to teach in areas surrounding Brentford, where I work (e.g. Hounslow, Richmond, Ealing) providing the lesson time is not too late in the evening.

- When are you available?

I am available evenings, Saturdays and state school holidays.

- Which ages and levels do you teach?

I am happy to teach all ages and levels between KS3 (age 11) and A Level (age 18)

- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?

I can prepare students for A Level, GCSE and Oxford applications

- Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.

I tutor via skype. It is very similar to a face to face tutorial, except documents are emailed or messaged between the tutee and myself before, during and after the session.
