Recent maths graduate from the University of Warwick with over two years tutoring experience. Looking to help students achieve their potential.
Methodology
My teaching method is to try and combine a fundamental understanding of the content being studied with the crucial exam techniques and tricks needed to achieve the grades they deserve. I believe students learn best by doing and aim to provide lots of useful examples and structured solutions. I am able to teach maths and science (biology and physics) up to (and including) IB/A-Level.
Experience
I recently graduated with a degree in mathematics from the University of Warwick and am starting a job as a business analyst at a management consulting firm next year. Before university I spent over two years tutoring, including one client whose 13 year old son had dyscalculia and struggled greatly in mathematics. Another student I tutored was a final year IB student who now studies at Columbia University in New York. So I have experience with pupils of a wide range of abilities!
