I believe that most students flourish in a relaxed environment and so I promote discussion about topics in order to aid learning, as opposed to me lecturing. It is important to discover areas that students aren't as confident with and then focus on these to improve understanding. Once the student has an understanding of the subject, I believe that completing past paper questions is the best way to prepare for exams.
Hi, I graduated with a First class degree in BSc Natural Sciences (specialising in Maths and Physics) from Durham University in 2017, and have recently completed an MSc in Management (Finance), graduating in January 2019, also at Durham University. I also obtained A*s in A level Maths, Further Maths, and Physics. I decided to start tutoring because I helped friends at University with their work and found it extremely rewarding as their understanding grew.
