Methodology

I recently graduated from Oxford University with a high 2.1 degree in Archaeology and Anthropology, scoring first class marks in several papers and my dissertation. At A Level, I achieved 100% marks in 4 of my exams (English & History), and achieved A* grades across all of my subjects.

I encourage my students to think laterally and emotionally about their subjects and to think about the broader context of what they are learning. I'm not here to help them memorise a series of dates or facts (that's not what examiners are looking for!): I'm here to help them understand the frameworks that underlie their subjects, such as dealing with source analysis (History), or how literary devices create meaning (English Literature). My passion for these subjects means that I love sharing my knowledge with students who I hope will continue to study them later on in life.
