Hey! Thank you for clicking on my profile!
I'm currently a Computer Science master's student at Imperial College London with an undergraduate degree in Physics from the same university. I teach secondary school pupils Maths and Physics.
My preferred method of teaching is to understand the what the student needs help with and what their current level of understanding is. I'll explain the concepts and follow up with sufficient practice examples for the student to apply the theory. At the end of lesson, I like to encourage students to explain what they have just learnt as I feel this reinforces the learning further and also exposes any gaps to be addressed in the next lesson.
I've been teaching since I graduated from my undergraduate degree in 2012. I've taught several people, always adhering to the principles above, and as a result have witnessed many of my students rise to obtain As and A*s in Maths and Physics. The only thing I ask is that my students are serious about learning.
GCSEs: 11A*s, 1A & 1B
AS-level: A further mathematics
A-level: 4 A (Maths, Physics, Chemistry & History), 1 B (Modern Greek)
Degree: 1st class honours BSc Physics, Imperial College London
Current: MSc Computing Science, Imperial College London
