I am Dr Merih Fidan, educated both in Turkey and Britain. I am a passionate, optimist, visionary and hard working psyhcologist and academic. My teaching techniques have evolved in time after i have taught to adult mature higher education students. It includes peer review, small group, explortaive and empowering type of teaching with the aim of giving confidence, providing knowledge and skills to the students.
I have been working as an academic tutor, assessor, lecturer and supervisor in Leicester university since 2013. I am a psychologist with BA and MSc in Psychology.But i also did Masters of Research in Psychology (MRes) in University of Birmingham, and PhD in Research in Counselling and Psyhcotherapy in University of Leicester. I specialise on qualitative research methods.
I have also been working as a private practitioner offering counselling/therapy using integrative and Cognitive Behavioural Approach since 1992.
I can offer my work in Turkish language as well.
