(1-tan squared(x) )/ (1+tan squared (x)) equivalent to cos squared (x) - tan squared (x) If so RHS works out as sin squared x. and LHS as cos 2x. Clearly these are not equivalent.

oh it suppose to be (1-tan^(2)(x))/(1+tan^(2)(x))=cos^(2)(x)-sin^(2)(x)
