According to Wikipedia, a prime number is "is a number greater than 1 that has no positive divisors other than 1 and itself. " For example, 2 is a prime number because it can only divide by 1 and itself(2/1 = 2, and 2/2 = 1), 17 is a prime number, too, because it can only divide by 1 and itself.
