I have a Master's Degree in Elementary Education (1-5) and Special Education Interrelated. My Bachelor's Degree is in General Studies with a major in Social Studies. My Georgia Teaching Certificate expires in June 2020. I taught for many years in Georgia and Florida. My heart belongs to Georgia. I have taught all different subjects through the years.

instruction using Bright from the Start Early Learning and Development Standards, set

Site Supervisor: My responsibilities were to help supervise students attending the
program, taking payments from parents and assignment of activity leaders to watch and play with students in their group.

Law Librarian: I was the media specialist for the regular and law library at a male prison
facility. I supervised inmate law clerks that wrote and filed appeals for other inmates
incarcerated at the facility. The library was available for inmates to use for research and
pleasure reading activities. I helped inmates attending GED classes that had unidentified learning difficulties.

Grade special education students at Everett Middle School. I made observations of
student progress within the regular education classroom. I modified activities and
instruction for student success. I wrote IEPs for students and met with parents to explain student progress at IEP meetings.

Regular and Special Education Teacher: Through the years I was assigned to various
areas. I taught Chapter 1 math grades 3-6, 5th grade, and Special Education resource

system went full inclusion, I taught Special Education Interrelated grades 6-12. Our
administrators wrote a proposal for an afterschool and summer program that I supervised for over 5 years. The summer program included free school lunches to all students grades K-12 in the county that attended.
