I believe teaching should be fun and interactive and that students should never feel bad about making mistakes. I think that mastering the basics of an art or topic is fundamental to the understanding of the topic as a whole, and I take a holistic and broad approach to teaching, tying different subjects into my own so that students can gain an informed, interdisciplinary understanding.
I'm looking to go into academia as a career, but I've been drawing classical still life and comic art from a young age. I can especially cater to GCSE students or those just getting started with drawing as I attained an A at this level. I've been informally helping out in classrooms for the last two years, am a society exec member at the University of Warwick, UK, and am DBS checked as I have also been a Young Leader with Girlguiding UK for the last few years. I've also volunteered with children at a mock archaeological dig.
There are no additional rates for students at any level. True beginners who just want to learn the basics, and those who can prove they have a disability, learning difficulty or that they come from a low income household can ask for a reduced fee, as I think everyone deserves art in their lives. Cancellation will need to be confirmed at least 12 hours before the specified lesson time or I will still charge.
Confident, articulate, personable and motivated, able to work independently or as part of a larger team. A quick learner, able to multi-task and tackle work with a mature, logical and proactive mindset. Currently studying Classical Civilization at the University of Warwick.

Ancient and Modern History
Art – I’ve been drawing since I was very young and have progressed to doing fine art for almost 7 years at secondary school and sixth form.
Learning languages – having basic knowledge of different languages opens my travel opportunities.
Girl Guides – I have enjoyed membership and leadership roles in Guiding since I began primary school.
Theatre – I love watching and acting in both classic and modern plays, and was a part of the Key Youth Theatre from 2018 to 2019, giving me persuasive skills, confidence and a strong command of conversation. I’ve been part of the University of Warwick’s Public Speaking Society.
Reading – I especially enjoy classic literature due to my interest in history.
Travelling – learning about the customs, cultures and traditions of other countries is a passion of mine.

Since October 2019, I have come to know Rhianna well as we are studying the same course at University. Rhianna is a kind, patient and is always ready to help with suggestions and ideas. She is hard working and very motivated to carry out tasks to the best of her ability, whether it’s completing assignments in relation to our course or creating one of her many creative pieces. I believe Rhianna would make an excellent tutor for the above reasons.
I met Rhianna through a mutual friend.
Never have I met someone with whom I have felt so instantly comfortable. Her talent for art and drawing is simply sublime and her personality is kind, approachable and encouraging. If you are looking for someone to teach you how to produce fantastic works of art in a fun, patient and easy to understand way, then Rhianna is the tutor for you. Her talent and imagination come together to form the perfect recipe for fantastic works and a great teacher.
Keep up the fantastic work Rhianna!
