I use a step-by-step teaching method, where presentation is key. My students thrive on this logical approach. I cover a chapter at a time, but my students are able to ask me questions they have once the lesson has finished. As these are the building blocks for a good understanding and therefore grade.
After graduating with a 2:1 in Economics and Finance I have further pursued my interests by working at a multinational finance company, DLL as a risk analyst. The aim of my role is to minimise the financial risk of the company as a result of overdue customer payments.

SALES ASSISTANT, PRIMARK
My experience as a sales assistant at Primark has allowed me to gain the valuable capability of working with both staff and members of the public alike. As a sales assistant I was tasked with customer service in particular, dealing with customers, complaints, and queries. I was able to navigate this role in an efficient manner through the means of persuasion and negotiation.
Furthermore, working in retail, allowed me to see first-hand, how a fast-paced business operates and how commercial decisions are made. A supportive team ethos on the shop floor which I contributed to helped create a good atmosphere to encourage customers to purchase more products. SKILLS AND ACHIEVMENTS
• Excellent Written and Oratory skills: At university I have presented numerous times to my fellow peers and lecturers, showing that I am able to convey information clearly and in a simple manner. Furthermore, these skills have also taught me how to tailor my writing for different audiences and scenarios.
• Team-working skills: Group presentations were an essential part of my course, for example a group presentation involving 6 individuals in which I was chosen as the team leader. As team leader I successfully delegated tasks to the individuals with the appropriate skills. I was comfortable with people disagreeing with my opinion and took their opinion into consideration for the group to succeed.
• Capacity to critically analyse evidence and construct coherent arguments: My Econometrics module enabled me to learn how to successfully use a statistics software called Stata, where I programmed and analyse large bodies of data, which I then put into a 2000-word report.
• Bloomberg training: I took part in an online Bloomberg course, where I learnt how to use the software proficiently.
• Student representative for Economics and Finance at Keele University
• Keyboard-grade three
