I Started focusing on Music in 2003 gaining 3x Distinctions in a National Diploma in Music Practice, I then successfully auditioned for a place at Trinity College of Music. After 4 years I gained a First Class degree, following that I obtained a Scholarship to study at the prestigious Royal Academy of Music for a Master in Arts.

£30 per hour Trumpet/Cornet/tenor horn

Beginner - Post Grade 8, Diploma level
I have spent many years developing my understanding brass instruments and therefore have the knowledge to teach all abilities and age ranges.
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
I am happy to working through TrinityGuildhall and the Associated Board (ABRSM) graded exams. Grades are great achievements and can help rate development through setting standards. However Grade aren't aways for everyone and I personally believe that the enjoyment is most important. So if you want to pass an exam or grade ,I will help and if you just want to learn 'Star wars' we can set our own goals and achieve it together.
- Do you have a personal message for students?
Music is something that everyone can enjoy on different levels, for me playing the trumpet/cornet has been one of the most amazing things I have ever done, its fun, exciting and delivers a sense of achievement. I would advise for everybody to learn an instrument and engage some of your creative side, why not try the trumpet/cornet?
The trumpet/cornet is a very versatile instruments from solo playing, playing in orchestras, big bands, pop music, brass ensembles and so much more, what takes your fancy?
Last, but not least, learning a new skill such at the trumpet is interesting, rewarding and most of all fun.
