About the lesson

I am a tutor of all subjects to children aged 4 to 11, and am also a tutor of English as a foreign language. I believe that learning should be fun, inspiring, and empowering for both children and adults and therefore use my creativity to provide exciting and enjoyable lessons.

When you contact me, I will arrange a needs analysis session to enable me to evaluate your needs and goals. I will then plan a series of lessons that are tailored to your needs and interests.

- How much do you charge?

I charge £20/hour with no additional transport fees if the lesson is based in central Bristol. If you are interested in paying in advance for a block of lessons, we can negotiate a discount.

The initial one-hour consultation session will be charged at £15.

- Where do you teach?

I teach at home (I live in central Bristol) but can also travel within Bristol and possibly to Bath.

Bristol, Bath, Avon.

- When are you available?

I am available from 4pm on weekdays, although I am quite flexible and may be able to teach at other times . I am also available during school holidays.

- Which ages and levels do you teach?

I teach all age ranges from children (from age 4) to adults.

- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?

KS1 SATS, KS2 SATS.

About Romilly

- What kind of experience do you have?

Although my specialism is teaching in the Early Years, I am currently working as a supply teacher, covering all ages from Reception to Year 6. Teaching English, I have taught a range of abilities (from beginner to advanced, including Business English) and a range of ages (from 5 year olds to adults).

- Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate?

Yes, as a primary school teacher I have regular CRB checks.
