I am a classically trained, professional singer with over 10 years teaching experience. I will work with you to improve your voice/piano skills with fun and a unique approach to each student as we all learn in different ways.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach classical singing as well as beginners piano lessons.
I work as a singer in the UK and abroad and I have a great passion for encouraging the love and development of music in anyone who wants it. From children to adults, anyone can learn and develop at any stage in life!
I think everyone learns best when they are enjoying what they're doing, so I do my best to choose music that you will enjoy and have fun singing and playing as well as help you to improve at the same time.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
I completed my undergraduate degree at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, where I received my Bachelor of Music. I recently completed my Masters in Performance with distinction as a scholar at the Royal College of Music and took part in a year long course with English National Opera. I also have a Grade 8 Flute qualification and Grade 7 Piano.
I have been performing professionally for some years now and have worked for companies such as Opera North, Opera Holland Park, European Chamber Opera, Diva Opera, Bury Court Opera, The Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment and English National Opera.
- How much do you charge?
I charge £20 for a half an hour lesson or £40 or one hour. I do offer discounts for students and the fabulous over 60s. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
- Where do you teach?
I prefer teaching pupils at home, because I feel that the familiar surroundings are reassuring and contribute towards quick progression. If this is a problem, I can arrange to teach somewhere convenient to the student.
- When are you available?
My timetable is flexible, so feel free to contact me to find a time to suit you.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
I am happy to teach any age, as anyone can improve and enjoy music!
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
ABRSM or Trinity Exams if the student would like to take them.
- What kind of experience do you have?
I have taught singing for about ten years now, including private teaching and working at preparatory schools and high schools. Currently, I am teaching at Mill Hill School, Belmont Preparatory School and work privately with many singers of all ages.
I have a specialist music background, as I started enjoying music at a young age I took part in various groups including; Harrow Young Musicians, National Youth Choir of Great Britiain and completed a Specialst Music A-Level at Peter Symonds College before starting my journey at Music College.

I studied at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama where I received a Bacherlor of Music and the the Royal College of Music for my Masters in Performance (disntinction). I also spent a year on the English National Opera esteemed Opera Works course.
