I was born on 03.02.2001 in Brasov, Romania.
My parents: Pirlea Ionel prime clarinetist at Brasov opera, Pirlea Maria engineer
I have a younger brother Pirlea Pavel-Adrian student at the Music High School "Tudor Ciortea" Brasov, he is also studying the violin
I started my career when I was 6 years old with piano but, at the advice of my parents I tried to study violin too. Later, I understood that the violin was the right instrument for me. So, I treated it well and at the age of 8 I held my first solo concert with the Symphonic Orchestra of the Brasov Philharmonic.
I have started to study violin at "Tudor Ciortea" Music High School and at the age of 12, starting from 2014, I attended the National Art College "Dinu Lipatti”, Bucharest. As it can be seen, I obtained good grades at the final national exams from 2015-2016.
At the age of 15 I attended the Summer Music Academy, Sinaia 2016 Master Class, where I was appreciated by Mr. Remus Azoitei and Mr. Charles Sewart. They encouraged me to apply at The Purcell School (in London) for a scholarship and of course, I followed up this advice. At this moment I’m a student at The Purcell School.
I participated in master classes under the guidance of high-class teachers such as: Tatiana Anatolgevna Polozova, Alexandru Gavrilovici, Evgenia Chugaeva, George Tudorache, Mihaela Martin, Charles Sewart, Remus Azoitei, Alina Ibraginova,

In 2009, at the invitation of Master Cristian Mihăilescu and Felicia Filip, he joined the orchestra of the Opera House in Braşov as a special guest on the show "The Great Concert of the Summer", broadcasted on the National Romania Cultural
As a member of the "Remember Enescu" Foundation, he has performed recitals in different cities: Brasov, Alba Iulia, Brãila, Bucharest, Covasna, Satul Mare, Tulcea, Ploiesti, Braila, along with his colleagues
In June 2014, at the Children's Day, he concerted with the Symphonic Orchestra of the Brasov Philharmonic, under the baton of Master Rusu Iulian, performed the concert for the violin and the orchestra "The Spanish Symphony" by E. Lallo

Since I started practicing and having lesson with him, I developed beyond my expectations! I have my repertorie well organized and the way of how I feel and think the music had changed dramaticlly and I did manage to be a finalist into a international violin competition. I highly recommend Octav as his brother to give it a try!
I would definitely recommend Octavian as a violin teacher, as he has got extremely talented skills and communicates really well the music around him. Not only his numerous experiences as a a soloist with orchestra bring him to a high standard of mastering the violin, but he also knows how to transmit his passion, in order to bring the best out of his students.
