While I have experience in the Suzuki method of teaching, my private teaching method is based on the individual. I invest in the interests of my student and I believe an effective way to maintain motivation is to combine goal oriented practise (for example working towards an exam) with playing for the sake of enjoyment (for example practising an arrangement of a pop song you really like).
Early experiences of music are hugely beneficial to a child’s confidence, self-expression and life skills. I am an enthusiastic musician and teacher based in London, and I believe music making should include people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds. I graduated from the Royal College of Music, London in 2018 with a Master of Performance with Distinction and was awarded a first class merit in Instrumental Teaching. I offer tuition in violin and viola and am able to give online lessons.
