I teach from home, where students can have access to a variety of resources.

I teach students of all ages. Currently, my students range from 10-year old 11+ candidates to 18-year old A-level students.

Initially tutoring 10 to 13 year olds in preparation for pre-tests and scholarships to top British Independent Schools, I now specialise in mentoring, motivating and tutoring Mathematics and Physics to GCSE and A-Level candidates.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
My specialist subjects are Mathematics and Physics but I also teach Chemistry, Biology and Economics up to GCSE. Additionally, I tutor all subjects for Common Entrance preparation, focusing on Maths and Sciences for scholarship.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
I received my undergraduate degree in Theoretical Physics from UCL in 2005 and my PGCE shortly afterwards.
- How much do you charge?
I typically charge £100 to £125 per hour depending on the subject, location, lesson duration, level and objective. I usually do not charge for travel if within a reasonable distance from my location. The full lesson price is payable if a tutorial is cancelled within 24 hours, half the lesson price is payable if cancelled within 48 hours.
Residential rates vary between £400 to £500 per day and would normally include 5 hours of tutoring.
- Where do you teach?
Tuition usually takes place at students' homes abroad or in Central and South West London. I also tutor from my offices in Clapham and Purley. Skype and FaceTime are available.
- When are you available?
I tutor full-time and so am available weekdays and evenings.

- Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.
Online tutoring is undertaken via Skype or FaceTime with use of an online whiteboard for shared use with students.
- Do you have a personal message for students?
Maybe you're already doing well but know that there's much more room for growth. Private tutoring is not just about fixing problems or removing obstacles. I have tutored local students of different backgrounds for several years and my experience extends from working with 11+ candidates to university undergraduates. Crucially, I tailor my teaching style to the individual needs of each student and, having taught in schools, am familiar with all exam boards (Edexcel, OCR, AQA, MEI etc) and have access to a wide range of resources to supplement lessons.
