Hi! I'm an experienced Acting, Drama and English tutor dedicated to helping you achieve your goals - whether you're working towards LAMDA exams, auditioning for Drama Schools or pushing for a higher grade in your next English exam.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
I currently specialise in Acting (including Drama School auditions and LAMDA examinations), Drama & Theatre Studies, and English.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
I have a BA (Hons) Acting and have worked professionally as an Actor for the Royal Shakespeare Company, the National Theatre and in television and film.
- How much do you charge?
I charge £40 per hour, but often work in 30 minute sessions for younger students (£25) in order to maintain the student's focus and energy.
- Where do you teach?
I generally teach at students' homes, but am happy to find spaces locally (at an additional cost depending how much the room might be) if learning at home is not possible.
- When are you available?
I am available daytimes and evenings of weekdays, including during school holidays.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach students aged 5 upwards. I am experienced teaching adults as well as children and young people and am happy to cater the lessons to any standard or ability.
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
LAMDA examinations, Drama School auditions and English Examinations are the most common, although I have worked on many other one-offs, including wedding speeches and amateur dramatics performances!
- Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.
I am happy to tutor English via Skype.
- Do you have a personal message for students?
I believe that most students learn best when they're having fun, so my approach involves unlocking creativity whilst pushing you to achieve your fullest potential. I am friendly and encouraging. I look forward to hearing from you!
