My teaching method varies from student to student. During the first lessons I usually spend the first 20-25 minutes playing game talking to the student finding about them to understand how they learn and what they stugggle with. I then plan acordingly. For example if i find the student finds how to express his ideas through words but struggle writing it down ill make him or her explain and ill write model answers, if i see a student looses focus through reading I’ll incorporate videos and games. I have acces to a range of past papers and am very experienced with sats and enetrance exams.
I am a student doing GCSEs, i am a top student who is predicted no less then a 8 in every one of my courses. I have experience through school where i work with younger years, as a mentor, I have previously tutored Children helping them get through 11 + examinations and 13 + examinations to some of the most prestigious schools in London including Latymer upper and St. Paul’s. I specialise in maths and the sciences. However I do also teach non verbal and verbal reasoning and give any interview practice needed. I can also give advice on what schools to go to what GCSE courses to pick, give advice about Duke of Edinburgh and help out with more personal stuff like bullying, organisation and time management. Having 3 younger sisters m experience with the younger generation is excellent, I know everything from the way they learn to what and how they are taught in school, this will provide a experience which is familiar but very productive.
Lastly, the fact that I still do go to school means i can connect to a student in a way a teacher may not do, although i may not be as experienced, I will understand things some teachers may not do , I experience school everyday and understand the pros and the cons.
Rates will only vary if I don’t have acces to WiFi
