First of all, I am trying and identifying how student feels about the subject, what the motivation is, whether student knows what they are struggling with and what the strengths are.
Then, I test whether this is accurate. I make sure that we cover everything from the start of the syllabus and that all terms are clear and student knows and understands all of the essential information. I like maintain fair speed and make sure that student does not get lazy but keeps working and gets better. If I see that something is not clear, I would make sure that student can explain it to me showing that he/she understands the material.
I like giving revision homework that would allow students to learn as well as be challenged.
I graduated from Durham University in Biomedical Sciences with Honors and continued deepen my knowledge working in the research within the field. Since school I used to help younger pupils as well as peer students. Helping others gives me gratitude and happiness. While at university, I helped students in practical experiments as well as tutorials to advise on the approach of the tasks and clarify any questions.
Teaching has always been something I enjoyed and I would like to continue doing it. I am in the process of getting qualified teacher certificate so I can make teaching a career.
