- Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach Singing, all styles and voice types, up to ABRSM Grade 8 level and Music Theory up to grade 5 level.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
Bmus (hons) RCM, A-level and GCSE Music.
- How much do you charge?
£30 per hour at my home or in local area, £20 per half hour lesson for children 10 or under.
- Where do you teach?
I teach at home in Teddington. Borland Road is just off Kingston Road, halfway between Hampton Wick and Teddington Rail Stations. It is easily accessible by the 285 and 281 Busses.
- When are you available?
My availability varies as I am a freelance opera singer who works on a contractual basis so lesson times can be arranged at a mutually convenient time.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach all ages up to ABRSM Grade 8 level. This is the level above which would be the first year of a Bmus degree at a Conservatoire.
- Do you have a personal message for students?
If you have a desire to sing then I have the knowledge to help you achieve your vocal potential. Whether that is singing purely for your own pleasure or preparing for an audition, I can give you the technical knowledge you need to express yourself through your voice.
- What kind of experience do you have?
I was singing teacher at Haberdashers Aske's Hatcham College for 3 years and have been teaching at The North London Performing Arts Centre for 1 year. I have also worked with many private pupils from a lead singer of a rock band to a mum who loved singing and a very gifted young counter-tenor who was subsequently awarded a choral scholarship at Oxford University.

- Where and with whom did you train?
I trained at the Royal College of music with Ashley Stafford and Henry Herford. Whilst there I also had teaching skills lessons with Russel Smithe and worked with Sarah Walker, Roger Vignoles, Steven Varcoe, Michael Chance, Sir David Wilcocks, Graziella Schiutti, Margaret Cable, David Ward and David Owen-Norris.
