I'd like to be told in advance a bit about what you want to get a better understanding of so that I can provide better examples and explanations. I will also help you understand homework you have been set.
I am two years into a masters course in mathematics. I am very eager to start tutoring anyone in the Manchester area.
I have not specifically tutored mathematics before but I have the highest grades possible in my past maths courses. During sixth form, I was a physics ambassador that occasionally helped out in classes for lower years (so I have done some degree of tutoring but in a different subject).
My qualifications include: A* in GCSE maths, GCSE further maths, A-level maths and an A in physics (so I am very capable of helping you with mechanics).
I will need to know the examination board for your exams (to look at the specification) as well as the level and type of exam (e.g. is it a higher or a lower paper and what modules do you wish to be tutored in, specifically for AS and A-level).
I will teach you to a level that you will then feel confident with the content using examples and helping you with homework. Then, nearing your exams I will go through past papers with you.
