Having just completed my second year in Law school, I now have a good grasp on studying efficiently for it. As a student in one of the most rigorous law schools in the UK, I have developed a system on how to study effectively using a combination of materials. Further, I believe in the importance of having an interactive aspect to learning the law through the use of discussing essay titles and hypothetical scenarios. I am also happy to share my knowledge of what is required when applying for an internship in the legal sector having secured interned in law firms and legal departments of companies.
Prior to this, I have never given paid lessons but I have been a mentor to students within the law school and I have also helped to tutor my fellow co-years on topics that they are unfamiliar with. Those who I helped have gone on to secure a 2:1 in their finals. Having received positive feedback from those I have helped, I feel confident that my methods work in practice.
Should my travelling costs total to an amount greater than £5, I will have to increase my fees for travel to simply cover that costs.
2nd year Undergraduate Law Student at the University of Nottingham
Consistent 2:1 in all exams thus far.
I have interned at 2 city law firms in Singapore, worked in PayPal's legal department and will be interning in the legal department of a London-based FinTech company this summer. I have also had marshalling experience with Sir Colin Birss.
I am the Head of the External Mentoring Scheme of the Law School. My main role is to communicate and network with law firms, pairing students with lawyers. This includes lawyers from Slaughter & May and Eversheds.
