My teaching method is to immerse the students in the English language, through not only studying vocabulary and listening to dialogues, but also talking to the students and creating new dialogues and helping them to become creative and imaginative. By doing this, the students can gain some real world knowledge in the classroom setting as well as the knowledge of the vocabulary they are learning.
I am a second year university student studying Chinese Mandarin, I have been also studying TESOL and hope to have my TESOL qualification upon graduating university. I am new to tutoring, but would like to gain new experiences by teaching online. I have taught English in a primary school setting for one year, and I have also had experience in working in a care home for the elderly. This has helped me to gain experience both in teaching and in care.
I am a creative and ambitious student who displays a maturity and work efficiency beyond
my years. I am a friendly and outgoing individual and am able to follow instructions with
great attention to detail. I can adapt to different situations whilst learning new skills quickly.
My ability to integrate into a team and learn from my peers is demonstrated in my education
and social activities. I am currently attending the University of Hull, where I am studying
Chinese Studies, with a year abroad in China in my third year. After university, I aspire to
teach English as a foreign language in China.
