I support my clients by teaching in a student-centred manner, helping them to develop the necessary skills and confidence to reach their language goals. I build a learning plan for each student based on their targets as well as their weaknesses, and offer further ressources for independent study. Topics are approached holistically, so as to cover all key skills: reading, listening, writing and speaking.
I am a qualified secondary school French teacher living in Manchester. I have a first class honours degree from the University of Sheffield in French and Hispanic Studies, where I obtained distinctions in both spoken exams and the highest grades of my cohort. I qualified as a Modern Foreign Language teacher with the University of Manchester, and I have taught French from KS2 right up to A-level. I am currently teaching French from age 11-18 in an independent school and live in the Broadbottom/Marple Bridge area.

Can’t recommend Lisa enough. Not only is she an expert in her field, she’s dynamic, energetic in her approach and really helpful in terms of figuring what you need as an individual - really helped me conquer the areas of French I struggled with/lacked confidence in. Worth every penny I’d say!
