Mathematics is a language of its own; I enjoy imparting a passion and curiosity for problem solving in my students whilst enabling them to follow a systematic and logical approach. Each student will be assessed individually, identifying the topics they are weak at or not as confident in and an action plan put in place based on their needs. I will adapt my teaching style to suit the learner and enable them to gain confidence and make progress. I will also provide homework and feedback to the student and/or parents.
I am а Maths teacher offering one to one and group tuition. I tutor students for Primary (including SATS and common entrance tests), GCSE and A Level Maths exams as well as Adult Key Skills Maths tests.
I graduated from university with an upper second-class honours in 2006. I went on to complete a Masters in Actuarial Science in 2007. I worked for AXA insurance as an Actuarial Analyst for three years and also tutored on a voluntary basis. Since completing my PGCE I have been teaching for twelve years with four years as Head of Mathematics.
