I teach Pilates and Functional exercises to help you improve your bodies natural capabilities to complete your daily routine physical activities, helping you to increase your energy levels so you can be more productive and to achieve positive results towards your wellbeing and fitness goals. With a focus on postural strength, alignment, and precision in the body and movements, my classes will help you improve your body awareness, making you stronger, fitter, leaner, more mobile and prevent painful movement.
I specialised in Classical Pilates following a serious lower back injury in 2013. Desperate for relief from the excruciating pain I was in, I decided to try Pilates for rehabilitation and couldn't believe the difference it made. Within a few months, I could move freely without pain and could feel my back getting stronger.
Having seen first-hand how powerful Pilates is, I'm passionate about helping others rehabilitate their injuries through functional Pilates movement.
As well as my group and one-to-one Pilates classes, I teach Pilates to people with Multiple Sclerosis through the MS Society, which is incredibly rewarding.
In addition to my Mat and Pilates Equipment teaching qualifications, I have a Post Graduate degree in Health Sciences, a Nutrition Health Coaching qualification and I’m a qualified Yoga teacher.
I am also an Educator and a Tutor for Pilates at HFE- Health and Fitness Education UK.
