I like to celebrate the diversity we have in the UK, and believe that food brings people together. I provide people with recipes that they can build on and share, some of which are recipes that have been passed down through families of friends with inspiration from Jordan, Palestine, Lebanon, Syria and more!
I am a supper club enthusiast bringing people together around food. I have delivered workshops to young people using beautiful seasonal local produce - empowering them to develop their own style using basic recipes as a framework.
I am used to cooking for small groups of 6 to big dinner parties of 20/30 people.
By day I work with young Asylum Seeking children delivering workshops on cooking and other life skills. I get a real sense of achievement when I see others inspired by cooking.
Please provide 48 hours notice if you wish to cancel. My rates are fixed so you don't need to worry if you are a beginner, or an accomplished chef just looking for inspiration.
I'm Flick. I grew up in a small village in Cambridgeshire, and have spent the best part of the last 15 years in Brighton and Sussex.
I am inspired by the diversity of food we have access to in the UK, and want to bring some of my ideas and inspiration, and love of many beautiful countries, to your home kitchen.
I can offer 4 different approaches to lessons:
1. I am happy to do a step by step demo discussing the different ingredients, how to source them, and how you can access these ingredients on a budget.
2. I would love for you to be in your kitchen, and for me to open up a step by step guide and discussion (and have some fun) while you cook.
3. I would love to help you to set up some longer-term goals for you to work towards, and provide you with 1:1 information, advice, and guidance as you go along. We can touch base with your progress every session we have and share your best practice.
4. If you have a party coming up, and you want guidance to help get you prepped beforehand, I am here to help!

I am all about the love of food and enjoying yourself as you cook. I want our sessions to be informal, passionate, and fun.
I was really struggling to think outside the box with my cooking. Flick introduced me to a whole new world of food and dishes. I would strongly recommend learning the middle-eastern plates from her: healthy and delicious and not so difficult to make!
