In lessons I encourage the student to explore music and find their own original ideas about music;
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
Piano and Guitar. Classical, Folk, Jazz, Improvisation and Composition. Many years of teaching experience and working with music as a form of therapy, helped me develop a method of teaching which revolves around finding your own individual musicality through the instrument. Focus is given to harmonies, rhythms, notation reading (classical and modern), music theory, and ways of using the instrument as an accompaniment to other instruments and/or your own voice.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
I am a qualified Music Teacher and HPC registered Music Therapist.
- How much do you charge?
My flat rate is £20 per 30mins, £25 per 45 minutes, and £30 per hour and usually at my home which offers the right space and special use of recording studio, microphones etc.
- Where do you teach?
I am happy to travel a short distance within N16 area, but for additional small charge for travel time/expense.
- When are you available?
Any time/ negotiable
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
From 4 years and older. I can teach advanced students, but we will need to decide together what exactly you want to achieve in the lessons.
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
Preparing for Grade exams.

If this is the only way people can access music learning I don't see why it couldn't work. I've got all the media ready to go, and happy to teach online.
