My teaching method is that I start by explaining what the topic is about. Before we go any deeper with the topic, first, I recap the basic maths with the students that they might have learnt in school and make sure they know and understand the logic. If the student has no knowledge or clearly didn't understand it, I will be happy to explain clearly before we go through the topic. After this, I teach the students by building up the topic related to the basic maths that they have learnt and make them understand where it is coming from. Lastly, make sure every student is confident with the topic and understand it effectively. I will give them some practice questions depending on the level of their confidence they report and support them whenever they need any help.
I am a student currently in year 12. I'm retaking my year to do Maths, further maths and Economics. I had no experience in tutoring yet, however, I had mentored 5 students at my old college for a couple of months this year, once a week per an hour. They did really well with their GCSE grades for Maths and got above grade 5.
I am a person who is keen to start a career in Banking. Currently, I am studying Maths, Further Maths and economics as my A level subjects. These subjects had brought my interest in this career, and I enjoy learning them throughout my year in college.
I am a reliable, trustworthy and ambitious student who enjoys taking on responsibility and has successfully demonstrated the ability to work cooperatively with others. I have learnt about teamwork and how important it is to communicate and listen to others’ people ideas. I also have learnt about having an organised manner, which is very important and likes to get works done on time and not leaving anything in the last minutes.
I have the ambition to continue learning by learning new skills and gaining some partial experience in
Education and I would like to share my knowledge with others who have the same interest as me.
