My teaching method combines a range of learning techniques that engage different parts of the brain in order to encourage memory and understanding. These include physical activities, discussion activities, writing and switching tutor and student roles. I frequently go through exam questions with my students in order to familiarize them with what they will be faced with on the actual day of their exam. To prepare them for exams, I find that students benefit from going through essay writing skills, learning how to structure and argument and critique other scholars.
I am currently a student at LSE who completed A- levels in 2019 so am very up to date with how the current exams work. I have previously tutored first and second year A- level Law and Sociology to 4 students, all of whom exceeded their target grades.
