Some cover involved babysitting classes

2018-2018 Doncaster College Lecturer in Criminology, Psychology and Sociology

My role entails teaching at the University Centre. I have been involved in teaching on the HNC Health and Social Care courses. Additionally, I have been involved in Access to HE Courses. Also, I have been involved in standardisation meetings and have engaged in relevant duties as required.

2016-2018 The Sheffield College Lecturer in Psychology, Sociology and Criminology

I have been involved in teaching Psychology, Sociology and Criminology to A Level, BTEC and on the Access to Higher Education Programmes, with awareness of the marking criteria and the specifications that are required on the different teaching programmes. My role has included attend meetings on various teaching programmes, discuss standardisation procedures and to attend internal verification and internal moderation meetings. My additional role is to undertake report writing on a monthly and termly basis for learner assessments and to undertake cover where necessary.

2002-Present Self employed Private Tutor in Sociology, Criminology and Psychology

I taught Psychology, Sociology and Criminology as a private tutor to GCSE, AS and A Level with some Access to HE teaching. This role involved teaching students in an individual and a group basis. The one to one has enabled me to teach learners individually and have successfully provided students with the skills that are required for examination success. With the group tuition students have been given the opportunity to share their ideas on a small group basis, with excellent examination success as with the individual tuition. Interesting discussions have been centred on Crime, the types of crimes committed and how relevant interdisciplinary theories explain criminal behaviours. Reliability of theories have been evaluated in terms of methodological issues, eg, the limitation of statistics. I have excellent examination results.
