I am a friendly and experienced teacher available to teach all ages and abilities. I am a professional viola player, who studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama (Bmus Hons) and The Royal Academy of Music (MA, LRAM).

I obtained Grade 8 Distinction from Wells Cathedral Specialist Music School in Violin, Viola and Piano
I graduated from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama with a Bmus (Honours & Distinction).
I am now in my second year of MA at the Royal Academy of Music.

£20 per half hour

- Where do you teach?
I can teach in my studio (just off Mare St) or in your own home. I can travel within the Hackney North & South Area, Islington, City of London, Tower Hamlets, Newham. I also can teach in the Marylebone area.
- When are you available?
As a freelance professional musician, I am flexible with timings and days. I can also teach at weekends.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach all levels, ages and abilities. I have experience in teaching beginners, children and adults to university music students.
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
I follow the ABRSM exam syllabi if pupils are aiming to take exams as I feel it is the most comprehensive. I'm happy to look at other exam boards, and I have experience in Suzuki teaching.
- Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.
I can tutor via Skype or FaceTime.
- Do you have a personal message for students?
I do expect commitment and hard work from my pupils in order to achieve their musical goals. I tailor my teaching to be an enjoyable experience, and with my guidance my pupils can expect the best results if they put the work in. Goal setting is very important to me, alongside pupil concerts. I can also rent out violins if that is something you are interested in.
- What kind of experience do you have?
I have over 5 years teaching 1-1 and group students across London. I have experience entering pupils for ABRSM exams (all of which have received a merit or higher). I also have experience teaching groups in schools, leading music workshops in schools and SEN schools. I am DBS checked, and have been teacher trained at the Guildhall and Royal Academy (LRAM).
I have received the highest standard of violin, viola and piano tuition from an early age and throughout my time at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and Royal Academy of Music. From this extensive education I have gained knowledge first-hand of the techniques and practices needed to achieve a high standard of playing.
My performance experience includes performing with conductors and musicians such as Sir Simon Rattle, Marin Alsop, Semyon Bychkov, Maxim Vengerov and Vladimir Jurowksi in concert halls such as Royal Albert Hall, Royal Festival Hall, Barbican Hall, Wigmore Hall and more. This extensive performance experience helps me prepare and inspire my students to the best of my abilities.
