Spanish and Portuguese tutor in London with 1:1 degree from University of London
Methodology
I’m an advocate of personalised learning, adapting my teaching style and pace to each student’s individual needs and aspirations. I also believe in the importance of staying focused on the desired learning outcomes, yet creating a warm and welcoming environment that makes students feel at ease and comfortable to ask any questions they may have. Besides that, I love building my teaching around cultural elements like music, film and art to really make the languages come to life.
In addition to Spanish and Portuguese, I’m also very confident teaching Dutch (my native language) and English (in which I’m fluent).
I absolutely love languages and really enjoy teaching others and helping them achieve their language goals, however big or small. I’m happy to teach from primary all the way up to A-level.

My name is Laura and I’m originally from the Netherlands. I moved to London to pursue a BA (Hons) in Spanish and Portuguese at the University of London which I completed with distinction. I’ve also spent time studying and working in Barcelona, Valencia, Buenos Aires and Lisbon.
