My own personal experience of learning different languages has allowed me to acquire a very empathetic approach. I can cater for all levels and requirements, in particular beginners, intermediate level, advanced conversation and children (primary to A Level).
I like to adapt to my students personal needs and to support them on their learning journey in any way I can.
I grew up in a bilingual home speaking English and Spanish and having constantly used both languages during my personal and professional life as well as acquiring and using regularly a good knowledge of French and German.
My first teaching experience was in Spain back in the 90's in a private language academy teaching primary aged children English and also assisting university students to perfect their English.
My professional career then took me on another path, but during this time I played an important role in raising my two children (now 16 and 12) to become trilingual, one of my greatest success stories of ongoing perseverance !
In 2012 when I began living in Switzerland I returned to private group tuition of primary age children learning English and private one to one lessons with adults learning or perfecting their English and Spanish.
Having returned in July 2017 to live permanently in England, I would like to offer my help to students that want to perfect their Spanish. Or Spanish students wanting to improve their English !
I like to be flexible and find being a language coach so fulfilling, it's a great learning process for me too !
