I'm passionate about my culture and my language. I love teaching Spanish and I try to include as many different techniques as possible to give a richer approuch to the student; songs, movies, recipes, poetry etc. Understanding grammar is absolutely essential and in my opinion needs to be placed in a live context so that your skills can develop in a more organic way. I suggest we should combine your personal interests, real daily situations and grammar exercises. Also as a classical singer I have been trained to work deeply on phonetics so if you are interested in an accurate pronunciation I can explain how to achieve it.
Speaking Spanish can open a huge world of experiences such as food, art, literature, films, wonderful cities to visit (or even countries) and especially a very extroverted and affectionate vision of life.

- Tell me about some of your current students.
My current student is a singing student and we work on phonetics for her songs and also literature for grammar and vocabulary. I love explaining the differences between English and Spanish in terms of verb tenses, for instance, and phrase constructions because they also reflect a different mentality wich is very interesting. We have worked in self introduction and conversation and we discuss very often about popular expressions and refrains. She's very keen on learning so she is improving really fast and she's planning to travel to Barcelona in the summer which is going to be the perfect experience for the end of her course.
