Experience

Hello, I am a qualified & experienced GCSE tutor. I have been tutoring in the United Kingdom for two years, part-time, and have six years experience tutoring on a one-to-one basis.
I pride myself on preparing lessons to suit the student, giving students advice and teaching individuals how to approach exam questions to obtain the best grade possible. Each lesson is structured based on a revision guide I make for the student.
My main job is as a partner at my company. We provide utilities to small and medium sized businesses, and as a partner I spend a lot of time going over our books. This gives me plenty of confidence when it comes to teaching problem solving as a skill, which is directly related to taking exams.

I teach Mondays to Fridays, from 15:00 to 18:30. This gives me time in the morning to focus on any admin work and the remainder of the day dedicated to passing along knowledge and skills I have learnt throughout my education.

I cover a broad range of subjects and exam boards due to my experience of tutoring, I am very familiar with all the past exams and have a deep understanding of what kind of questions will appear in the years to come.

I charge a flat £19.00 an hour for any lessons within a ten mile radius of my residence. For each mile over I charge an extra £1.00 per mile. I offer a pick up from school service for £10.00 plus mileage expense, which I invoice for.
