Having achieved high grades throughout GCSE, A Level and university, I have appreciated the importance of appreciating learning objectives, mark scheme and exam format. Therefore, my tutoring is based around tailoring learning to directly complement the final assessment.

Human Biology MSci (University of Birmingham): A 12-month research project in which I characterised a monoclonal antibody specific to an epitope within the capsule of C. neoformans and wrote my first lead-author publication (Prof Robin May).
Undergraduate summer studentships (University of Birmingham): Completed during the summer of my undergraduate degree, I gained experience in both super-resolution microscopy and zebrafish infection models, which contributed to my inclusion as a co-author on a pre-print currently under review.
Digital Champion (2017-2018): Aided the design, delivery and supervision of a course centred around developing digital skills of undergraduates (e.g the design of posters, presentations and online magazines).
Peer-assisted study sessions (PASS) (2015-2016): Working with two fellow 2nd year students, I delivered revision sessions for 1st year students, for which we were recognised with a university-wide outstanding contribution award. In my 3rd year, I became a coordinator of the programme, timetabling sessions and supporting students leading the sessions.
The Birmingham Project winning team (2014): I was a member of the winning team of an entrepreneurial group project in which we pitched the prototype of mobile phone application that we designed for an electric car rental company.
