I am a Bristol Old Vic Theatre School trained actor, with a BA (Hons) and MA (both in English) from the University of Warwick. I tutor on a one-to-one basis to get the most out of our sessions, which I will tailor to your exact needs.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
Acting, Drama, English, Presentation and Confidence
- Tell me about your qualifications.
I have a BA (Hons) in English and Theatre Studies and a Master of Arts (English) from the University of Warwick, as well as training as a Professional Actor at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. I work as a professional actor and have worked with the BBC Radio Rep in over 60 radio plays for BBC Radio 3, 4 and 4 extra and appeared on such shows as The Archers. I have also worked in many venues including Shakespeare's Globe and at the Jubilee Hall in Singapore, where I grew up.
- How much do you charge?
I usually charge between £40-£50 per hour, depending on the work we do and where you are based, but I'm not a clock-watcher and make sure to get the best out of you in that hour. I do ask, however, for 24 hours notice for a cancellation or I will have to charge a fee as it prevents me from scheduling sessions with others.
- Where do you teach?
I have an excellent work space at my home in Hampstead, North London, but am also willing to travel to surrounding boroughs if you would rather - I am flexible around you.
- When are you available?
As I am freelance, I am entirely flexible. So get in touch and let's see what can work best for you.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
- Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.
I am happy to tutor online, but would always recommend a face to face session so that you can get the most out of your time with me.
- Do you have a personal message for students?
I'm here to help, grow your confidence and show you that you can do it!

Have led workshops for University of Warwick
- Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate?
- Where and with whom did you train?

- Do you belong to any professional organisations?

- Tell me about some of your current students.
I currently have a wide range of students (my youngest is 5, my eldest is 67!) in all the subjects mentioned above - from complete novices to professionals looking to brush up their skill sets. I have been providing support and coaching to those interested in Drama School auditions for a number of years, and know the process intimately, with several of them accepted into the top drama schools of the country (RADA, LAMDA, Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, Guildhall School of Music and Drama). I am also a LAMDA exam tutor. In English, I support students of any age, including curriculum and exam help through GCSE and A Level, as well as the I.B. and university level.
