About the lesson
I am a newly qualified teacher in North Cheshire who is looking to expand their horizons and assist and support individuals achieve their goals.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
Health and social care and adult literacy. Also am interested in Native Speaker work with foreign students who want to improve their English conversation.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
I have recently completed my Certificate in Education (Summer 2011) at Warrington Collegiate/Chester University. I am working towards my NVQ assessors award in health and social care.
- How much do you charge?
I will charge no more than £20 per hour for lessons in the local (Warrington area) and will only add add an extra £5 for travelling costs out of the area.
- Where do you teach?
I am prepared to teach either in my own house, the students house and by e-mail/skype if required.
- When are you available?
I am flexible. Although I work on the community as a carer I can fit my teaching around this and vice versa. I am available weekends and bank holidays as well where required.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
When I taught adult literacy I was teaching 16+ age group. This would also apply to health & social care teaching too.
- Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.
I can teach online and with visits.
- Do you have a personal message for students?
I am approachable and friendly person who will be as flexible as necessary to fit round all other commitments.

- What kind of experience do you have?
I taught adult literacy (Entry Level 1-Level 2) at Warrington Collegiate as part of my CTLLS and Cert. Ed. qualification. I have ten years industry experience in health and social care in the Warrington area.
- Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate?
Yes i have one from April 2011 for my current work with vulnerable adults.
