I am a recent graduate from the University of Bath. I previously studied Structural Engineering at Masters degree level.
As a tutor I tend to focus on 4 to 5 key points from the syllabus that the student is shaky on. Using basic theory and relevant past paper questions I try to encourage the student through each problem. As a person that has previously struggled in my lower years at school I know how frustrating it can be to not understand something, but I can assure you that with enough commitment and the right guidance anything is possible.
Unfortunately I have no formal experience in tutoring, however I am incredibly keen to start and have always been a very calm person when helping friends with difficult mathematical problems.
Please do not allow this to be the deciding factor when choosing an appropriate tutor. I plan to have very few students so that I can give my full attention to each... Everyone has to start somewhere!
