I base my teaching as a tutor around a healthy friendly interaction with my student, as I feel it is the best way to enhance skills outside the formal teaching environment. I am happy to teach mathematics up to GCSE level and beginner level guitar.
I am a univeristy graduate with a degree in economics alongside passionate interests in international relations. I have used mathematics and statistics in all my educational endeavours from GCSE to University, all while enjoying and progressing my guitar skills along the way.

President, Greenwich Model United Nations Society, (2019-2020)
On a more recent note, since being elected Vice President (2018/19) then President (2019/2020) of the University of Greenwich Model United Nations Society, I have been heavily involved in the administration of the society including the organisation of events and acquiring endorsements and sponsorships for the necessary costs of the society. Furthermore, back in March I helped our university delegation represent Ecuador at the 27th, and Romania at the 28th prestigious “Harvard World Model United Nations Conference” in Panama City, Panama, and Madrid, Spain. Here I worked alongside other delegates from other universities world-wide on the Disarmament and International Security Committee (DISEC) in order to pass a resolution related to the chosen topic of biological warfare. My main responsibility on my committee was to assist in the creation of a resolution paper that best represented the Republic of Ecuador’s views on biological warfare. Through this experience, I have learnt how to work on critically important topics with people I have never met before in a foreign environment. I can honestly say it was one of the best experiences of my life, and I am looking forward to participating at the 29th Harvard World Model United Nations Conference in Tokyo in 2020 my delegation’s Head Delegate!
Sales Consultant, Next Ltd, Plymouth, Dec 2016 – Mar 2017, Jul 2017, Jul – Sep 2018
Next Ltd, one of the United Kingdom’s most significant and respected retail stores, with commercial outlets nationwide providing a range of clothing, footwear and home products. This job involved handling money and working under pressure in a commercial environment (particularly during seasonal sales), self-management, and working as part of a team to provide excellent customer service whilst identifying issues before they arise and ensuring the correct stock was on view. While working at Next, I believe that I developed very good organisational skills and a thorough understanding of the importance of building relationships with customers.
Deputy Head Boy, St Boniface’s Catholic College, March 2016 – June 2017
In addition to this, I have worked as a part of the student leadership team as Deputy Head Boy and a Senior Student Ambassador, in order to best represent the needs of my fellow students, and the school on a more formal level. Over the course of Sixth Form, we collaborated to organise numerous events at our school, such as Awards/Open Evenings and charity events which involve the wider community. This has also aided me in prioritising tasks in order to complete them efficiently for a deadline. During the last two years, I have also carried out over one hundred hours of voluntary work which has gained me the “Vinspired 100 award”.
Interests and Hobbies
I have always had a passion for sport, from football to hockey, and have recently enjoyed expanding my knowledge and understanding of Spanish to an intermediate level. I am also a keen musician, playing both the guitar and harmonica. I am, in addition, an avid reader: I enjoy many genres and have an interest in books about politics and current affairs.
