I am a self-taught guitarist. As such my teaching method is very much based on independent learning and practice. i combine Music with other elements, including film, to help agin a greater understanding of music genres and your personal style. I do not believe in learning any single style of playing the guitar as they are all beautiful and unique, meaning that they each offer something different to the player. i think it is vital to understand the components of each genre because people are more than often misinformed on what each genre is, leading to the modern negligence of Rock, Jazz, Blues etc.
I have been giving lessons on playing the guitar to multiple friends and members of family-one of them is currently a part time song writer and singer, so i consider my methods to be more than satisfactory.
I began playing the guitar at the age of 10, and have never stopped since then.
