I graduated last summer with a BA in Education Studies from the University of Roehampton. I am very well informed about methods of teaching and how to approach each of my students' learning style individually. I am currently doing an MA in Sociology of Education at the Institute of Education, UCL.
My main approach to teaching is to assess the level of my students and tailor lessons and activities based on their individual needs. I also like to focus on what my students want to improve most during their learning. I am not very fond of the 'one fits for all' technique. I believe individuals are different and learn in different ways, so everyone should meet their own potential at their own pace.
I have been giving lessons for the past 5 years. I worked in schools with young children on literacy programmes. I give lessons to children and adults in French and Arabic from beginner to intermediate levels.
I have the degree for teaching pedagogy and education related knowledge. I also have subject knowledge for French and Arabic.
French is my second language, and Arabic is my native language. My level in French is advanced which gives me the ability to teach it when combined with my knowledge of teaching pedagogy.
