I coached for the Edge Hill Vikings American Football team until the end of this year where I joined the coaching staff part way through the season of 2016/2017 and coached the offensive line, due to the Head Coach and offensive coordinator leaving due to bad results. This led to myself becoming appointed the offensive coordinator and providing 6 wins and 2 losses in my career here. My duties were; training and teaching a large team to compete at high standards in American Football.
2018-2019: Customer assistant, Marks and Spencer, Scunthorpe

This has given me experience in the background of a retail environment and has allowed me to increase my speed and organisation and Teaching skills.
2018-2018: Assistant Manager/Supervisor, Subway, Scunthorpe
I worked as an assistant manager/ supervisor at a Subway in Scunthorpe and this entails more than just a sandwich artists role. This role entailed such things as; cash handling, achieving targets, maintaining stock levels, daily paperwork, main key holder, banking, dealing with customer and staff issues, training staff members and managing staff rotas. This has given me a vast amount of experience in being able to manage, train and work with teams in a fast-paced environment.
2017-2018: Team Member, Yates, Preston
working at Yates in Preston as a Team Member, my responsibilities are to serve customers food and beverages, working nights, cash handling, stock rotation, heavy lifting and cleaning duties. I worked and oversaw night shifts in Preston Subway full time while studying.
My main roles included preparation of food, assembly of sandwiches to customer’s specifications and kitchen cleanliness and hygiene. Night shifts in subway provide a fast paced and highly demanding environment in which to work. The shifts involved interactions with some very difficult customers; however, customer satisfaction was essential therefore I have developed very good communication skills in a high-pressure work environment. Whilst my main roles were stated above, I also had to deal with customer complaints, management of a small team and would also do the stock count and cashing at the end of the night.

Teaching assistant, Riddings infant school, Scunthorpe
For work experience at secondary school, I worked as a teaching assistant in where I took many responsibilities assisting the teachers and the children with whatever they may require of me.
Communication: During assignments I have been involved in a number of group work projects where presentations skills have been vital. On my most recent group presentation we achieved a high mark of 77; the presentation required me to useeffective written and oral communication skills. Placements, voluntary coaching and paid work in busy retail environments have further developed these skills.
Teamwork: Group work has been an essential part of university and I have enjoyed working successfully within all my groups. Before university I was in the Sea cadets for 6 years and believe it provided me with adequate teamwork abilities, such as; listening, delegation and empathy. I have also been part of many sports teams such as Football, Rugby, Snooker, Pool and American Football teams such as Taekwondo, BJJ, MMA and
Boxing allowed me to work as not only in a group but as an individual.
I have had many successes in the teams that I played for one of which is becoming the university American football team captain and also the Light heavyweight WCMMA champion.
Time Management: I have always successfully balanced my part time work and my course, ensuring that I meet deadlines whilst also arriving to work and training on time.
Adaptable: As I have played many sports and have had many different jobs, I have learnt how to adapt under many situations whether it is high pressure or none at all. Being able to adapt and change to all situations allows me to keep mentally focused and to keep focussed on the tasks at hand.
Hobbies and Interests
