I use a combination of different teaching methods to engage my students and tailor it to their needs. I will first go through the content and basic knowledge they need to know by asking them questions and discussing with them rather than speaking at them. This helps information be absorbed better. I also give exam questions that we work together to tackle so that they understand how to apply their knowledge to exam-style questions. As well as this, I often conduct quizzes on topics we have already been through to make sure that the information and knowledge my student has been taught is being reinforced into their long-term memory in preparation for their exams.
I often plan things to go through in advance, however, I am also able to change up my lesson plans on the day to allow them to choose what to go through. Whilst my main subject is Chemistry, as a tutor I am also there to support them through all their studies so I am very versatile and as I have completed the EPQ and done medicine interviews I can also help students with this as well.
I have been giving lessons to multiple students for over three years now so I have accumulated many hours working as a tutor which has given me the experience I need. I have both primary school children and GCSE students to help improve their grades. I have managed to increase my GCSE students grades by 3 grades in the space of a few months. My student went from getting a 4 (Low C) to a 7 (A) in her real exam.

Perfect! she explains things really good and I understand the work that we do together on the whiteboard, whenever I don't understand some of the work we go through it bit by but until I understand it, I recommend Rabiah a lot :)
Milena is a wonderful student, she takes an initiative herself to pick out areas that she struggles on and has met me halfway for every single lesson. She's incredibly friendly and I really enjoy teaching her!
Rabiah is a smart intellectual individual who helped me increase my grades by 3 grades . She’s kind hearted and sympathetic towards her students .
I massively improved from my previous grades resulting in me getting offers from my universities as my predicted grades were changed to higher due to Rabiah’s work .
I think Rabiah is a great tutor as she is very good at breaking down complex concepts. She has a lot of patience and can explain the same thing in different ways, if necessary.
Incredible tutor, really helped me with all my questions and concerns. Definitely recommend, friendly and helped simplify any difficult topics. Has a range of different teaching methods to fit the need the need of the child.
Rabiah is a well experienced tutor who has the capability to teach everyone in a way that will enable them to take in the information and fully understand each topic being taught. She is helpful , patient and comfortable to be around making it easier to communicate with and ask for any help.
