I believe the best way to improve in maths is to practice as many questions of as many styles as possible. Lessons will be tailored to the students need, however a rough outline would be as follows:
First we would go over the topic(s) identified by the student, ensuring all methods of solving questions are identified and the student understands all that is required by their exam board specification.
Next we would go through a few questions together, where the student will learn how to identify what the question requires and how to answer them to secure all marks
This would be followed by the student trying a some questions independently, allowing them to master the skills learnt during the lesson, and seeking help as needed

I would highly recommend Nirav as a maths tutor. I came to Nirav when I was struggling with the new GCSE maths specification. Nirav carefully and coherently explained concepts I was struggling with and helped me gain a better understanding overall.
