My teaching method would be to teach basic piano exercises (scales, arpeggios etc.) followed by practising pieces that the student enjoys. I want the student to enjoy playing the piano and to learn at a rate they are comfortable with.
I have been playing the piano since I was 8 and have passed my Grade 7 Piano Performance exam, along with my Grade 5 Musical Theory exam. I have some experience of teaching young students to play and will continue enjoying the instrument by teaching others to play.
I offer lessons at £20 per hour, £15 for 45 minute lessons and £10 for 30 minute lessons. I would recommend the shorter lessons for the very begginer or younger student.
